Dear Sarah,
Firstly, please take note of the font style. AI reppers know what I'm talking about!
So this is it, it's only taken three wonderous weeks but I have finally gotten around to commencing my travel blog. Admittedly, the surroundings are not idyllic.
I had romantic ideals of blogging from cutseý-retro-hipster coffee shops surrounded by tables of beards and bicycles but due to technically difficulties I find myself in a dingy internet cafe in Copenhagen's Turkish district.
PCs everywhere. I'm even blogging from one. I'm pretty much the anti-hipster.
Nevertheless, a few points about my blog:
1. Each post will be directed towards a particular loved one. It seems only fitting to begin with you Sarah as you expressed great interest and, as usual, extremely high expectations. I feel my belated beginning makes me just as bad as 'you know who'!
2. As the address suggests - there will/must be cats. Nepalese cats, Danish cats and cats I'm yet to meet! Although, I will never fill the void that is Fox Mulder (please refer to every picture I've ever put on Instagram, ever) a conglomoration of world cats acts as a slow release cat fix that all of you know I cannot go without.
3. I'm a lazy as shit, newbie blogger but don't let that put you off! Let's consider this blog as a journey in which we will embrace and experience all the kinks and technical difficulties together!
As most of you know, I begun my journey in Nepal before moving on to the major part of my trip through Europe. Although I have already left Nepal far behind, the people I have met and the places I have been a still fresh in mind. I will endeavour to go back and capture my time in Nepal and now Denmark chronologically.
Tomorrow I travel to Berlin! Due to my lack of organisation/planning, I will be taking a 7-hour bus ride (Eurolines) to get there. Good times.
I will endeavour to write again soon (see what I did there Sarah?!!!).
Much love from Hipsterville!
Mona
